A new FreeDict-lit dictionaries released - 0.7. Now these dictionaries contains: eng-lit - 6255 headwords and lit-eng - 7030 headwords. These dictionaries are also released by the FreeDict project: see English - Lithuanian and Lithuanian - English.
I have prepared and uploaded to unstable branch the new set of FontForge packages. Now, this set consists of 4 source code packages (fontforge, fontforge-doc, fontforge-extras and mensis), which make the 9 binary packages.
This is the first time, when I load my packages oneself, after I became the Debian Maintainer (DM).
A new FreeDict-lit dictionaries released - 0.5. Now these dictionaries contains: eng-lit - 4470 headwords and lit-eng - 4060 headwords. These dictionaries are also released by the FreeDict project: see English - Lithuanian and Lithuanian - English.
Today my GPG key entered in the debian-maintainers keyring (the package debian-maintainers-1.54 get into Debian archives). This means, that from now I will be able to upload most of my packages in the Debian archives myself, without sponsor support. Many thanks to my advocates: Christian Perrier and Joost van Baal.
That’s the time came when the freeze ended, and development will flow again. So, I have prepared the new packages releases for the squeeze branch: littex, libuninameslist and xgridfit.
This year’s January 2 FreeDict project has released the first official release of these dictionaries. These dictionaries will shortly Debian archives (yet in the experimental branch).
A new FreeDict-lit dictionaries released - 0.4. Now these dictionaries contains: eng-lit - 4200 headwords and lit-eng - 3010 headwords. This release of dictionaries have also uploaded into FreeDict project CVS repository (see.: eng-lit and ]lit-eng](http://freedict.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/freedict/lit-eng/).
It looks like nobody is interested in it and it only occupy the space uselessly.
I see no reasons for anybody to not join SPI. All you need to join is a valid email address and interest in free software.
The package refcard, starting from version 5.0-1 already has the Lithuanian reference card. It will be the second Lithuanian document in the Debian.
I have wasted the plenty of time on converting this big dictionary from Arabeyes.org to the .tei format, but now it already is in the FreeDict CVS repository.
I have prepared the new xgridfit Debian package release - 1.0a-1.
I have prepared the new fontforge Debian package release - 0.0.20071110-1. From this version the fontforge program supports the Spiro curves.
I’ve build a new libspiro Debian package. Today this library is needed for the FontForge program, but later could be used by others programs (InkScape, etc.).
Only the source code for this installer - led_zodynu_idiegiklis. (Deleted).
I have made the Lithuanian spell checkers installer - SpellChecker-lt_Portable. (Deleted).
I have prepared the new fontforge Debian package release - 0.0.20071002-1. This package has new python-fontforge binary package, so from now will be possibility to access a FontForge program from the Python programs for font manipulations.
I have tried to make a few Lithuanian portable applications. (Deleted).
I have prepared the new plugin version release (0.8) for OpenDict - opendict-plugins-lingvosoft. An unofficial Debian package is uploaded to repository of Lithuanian unofficial Debian packages. (Already got into the official Debian archives - 2007.11.21).
Now this package has even 42 bilingual dictionaries.
I have prepared the new OpenDict Debian package release - 0.6.3-0.1. In the meanwhile it is unofficial package. It is uploaded to repository of Lithuanian unofficial Debian packages. (Already got into the official Debian archives - 2007.11.19).
I have prepared the new fontforge Debian package release - 0.0.20070808-1.
The package debiandoc-sgml, starting from version 1.1.102 already supports Lithuanian language, because the bug #394640 is closed. Thus, now it become possible to have Lithuanian documentation in the Debian. It will be the first such document - #437059.
At last I send to my Application Manager Alexander Wirt formorer@debian.org the answers of the last part of questions in my Debian application (T&S II). It has taken even three and a half months for me. It’s a shame, I am a little lazy, though maybe some day I will be Debian Developer.
I don’t know how it has happened, but I am thankful to David Moreno Garza damog@debian.org for getting one more my Debian package into the New Debian Packages Queue.
